Craving authentic Italian flavor right here close to home? Head to Donnici's Italian Deli and Market in Excelsior Springs, where everything is made with love and tradition.

Carrie Donnici has spent a lifetime working for other companies, learning about business and people. She worked at USPS for over a decade, at Liberty Hospital, and for her grandfather at Odell Plastics. They have also had side businesses in addition to their day jobs. 

Carrie decided to leave her day job and launch Donnici's Sack Lunches and Catering in February 2024. With a passion for food, family, and serving people, she began testing the new business venture in historic Excelsior Springs, MO. 

The need for affordably delicious deli sandwiches and catering seemed to have an appeal to people and businesses in town. So, Carrie has partnered with the Good Samaritan Center, utilizing their kitchen in an effort to see their dream job come to life. 

Carrie​ began working on a storefront for the deli, as the sack lunches and catering business blossomed. And, 11 months later, Donnici's Deli and Market opened its doors on January 3, 2025.
